ملخص البحث:
يعد هذا البحث أحد الدلائل الکبرى التي تثبت عناية المحدثين بالنقد واشتمال منهجهم على أصوله وقواعده ، ذلک أن الاستدراک في حقيقته هو نقد وإمعان نظر وفکر في الکتاب المقصود دراسته ، والمحدثون رضي الله عنهم قد أحسنوا تطبيق هذه القواعد المنهجية في کتبهم,علم الاستدراکات باب له تطبيقات کثيرة في کتب المحدثين وقد استعانوا به لإکمال کتب من سبقهم وإظهارها في أکمل صورة وأتم وجه ، وهذا البحث غيض من فيض المحدثين يشير إلى جهدهم ويقف على بابهم يدل على ما فعلوه دون إحاطة بکل ما کتبوه ، وهو تطوافة بين أبواب علوم الحديث يرى فيها الناظر علامات دالات على بقية الجهد المبارک الذي بذلوه ,  الاستدراکات منهج أصيل عند المحدثين ، ويعد علم الحديث من أکثر العلوم الشرعية عناية واستعمالا للاستدراکات، وقد حظيت بعض علوم الحديث بأقدار متفاوتة من تطبيق هذا الباب فنرى أن علم الرجال حظي بقدر وفير من الاستدراکات بخلاف علم السيرة الذي لم يکن نصيب کبير من الاستدراکات ,  ويرى الباحث أن بعض العلوم التي لم تحظ بنصيب وافر من الدراسات الاستدراکية لابد أن تتوفر العناية لها لتنال حظها منها . وکما ينبه الباحث إلى ضرورة معرفة مسارات کتب العلم ومبدئها ومنتهاها لتعرف حرکة التدوين في کل باب من أبواب العلم ويستطاع الوقوف على جهود الأئمة ومعرفة مناهجهم ، ويعد هذا البحث أحد تطبيقات نمط جديد في الدراسات الحديثية سبقه کثيرون على هذا النسج ، فإن الباحث يزعم أن الدراسات الحديثية لابد أن تتجه إلى دراسة المسائل التفصيلية ذات التطبيقات الکثيرة والتي لم تحظ بقدر کبير من العناية التأصيلية ، وقد توفرت عناية بعض من طلاب الحديث في هذا الزمان على القيام بهذا المقصد وتحقيقه تکميلا لبناء العلم واستيفاءا لمقاصده ، وهذا البحث جعلته في مقدمة وفصلين وتوصيات وخاتمة بجانب ثبت للمصادر والمراجع وفهرس للموضوعات .

Abstract:
This research is one of the major proofs that evidences the hadith scholars' (Muḥaddithūns) concern of the criticism and their approaches are included the critical methodologies and principles. As the rectification (Istidrāk) is patently a criticism and further consideration of the book on the topic under study. The hadith scholars (Muḥaddithūn) - may Allāh be pleased with them - have perfectly applied those critical principles in their books.
The science of rectifications (Istidrākāt) has various applications in the hadith scholars' (Muḥaddithūns) books, and they used them to fully and perfectly complete and improve the former books. This research comes as a humble contribution to demonstrate their massive efforts, and it claims by no means to be exhaustive. It is considered to be an educational round among the different topics of Hadith sciences different topics to detect some of the hadith scholars’ blessed efforts.
The science of rectifications (Istidrākāt) is inherently original approach used by the hadith scholars (muḥaddithūn) as the science of Hadith is one of the most interesting and using Sharia' sciences for cognition sciences. Some Hadith sciences have varied in the application of this section, so it is shown that the science of rectifications (Istidrākāt) appears more commonly in the Science of Narrators -Biographical evaluation- (‘ilm al-rijāl) while it seems less common among the Science of Prophetic biography (Al-sīra). Therefore, this research underlines the significance of paying attention to the application of the rectifications (Istidrākāt) in regard to the sub-disciplines of Hadīth studies in which the rectifications studies (Istidrākāt) are not sufficiently developed. 
This research also draws the attentions the necessity of knowing the paths of Hadith science books and its sequences in order to be able to recognize the writing process in each topic, to identify the efforts of the imams' (hadith scholars) efforts and know their approaches.
This research appears as an application of a new approach to ḥadīth studies, which was initiated recently by some researchers. This approach argues that ḥadīth studies should divert its attention toward studying the detailed cases with various applications, which have not been deeply examined yet by the founding attention. Recently, some students of hadith have paid attention to do this purpose and to achieve it as a complement to enhancing the science and fulfilling its purposes.
This research includes a preface, two chapters, recommendations, and a conclusion, sources, references as well as table of contents.
