الملخص:
      يستهدف هذا البحث التعرف على  أهمية  الأزهر الشريف ودوره في نشر العلم، کما يستهدف معرفة دوره في  التجديد والإصلاح، ويستهدف کذلک  توضيح دور الأزهر الشريف وعلمائه في النهوض بعلوم اللغة العربية وآدابها، ومنهم: _الدکتور محمد حسن عثمان _أنموذجًا.  وقد استخدمت في هذا البحث: المنهج  التجميعي  التفسيري،  والمنهج التحليلي في جمع المعلومات من الکتب والدراسات وتحليها، ثم استخدامها بما يتوافق مع أهداف بحثي .  من أهم نتائج البحث : أنّ جهود الأزهر الشريف تنوعت في دفع حرکة التنوير بمصر من خلال خدمة التراث العربي والإسلامي، إذ سارت في عدة مسارات متعددة، أهمها وفرة الأزهريين المهرة في التأليف والتحقيق لهذا التراث، والذي أصبح فيما بعد أساس أصول العلم العربي والإسلامي.
الدفاع عن لغتنا هو معرکة سياسيّة لا ثقافيّة فحسب، وهي في هذا الإطار نوع من المقاومة، مثلما هي المقاومة في فلسطين وغيرها من بلاد العرب.  التجديد لا يعنى التجرد من الأصول والثوابت والمسلمات، بل يعنى البحث في أدلته ومقاصده العامة واستنباط ما يتوافق مع روح العصر.  تعد منصة" منصة هداية التعليمية" إحدى أهم أدوات التواصل للأمانة العامة، حيث تعمل تلک المنصة على تزويد المسلم في کل مکان بکل ما يحتاجه من: معارف وعلوم ومهارات في شتى شئون حياته بصوره تفاعلية وجذابة.
ومن أهم التوصيات:  تعزيز دور المرأة في النهوض بالخطاب الديني والمشارکة في التجديد والإصلاح الفکري.
يجب على رجال التربية أن يواجهوا تحديات العصر بالأساليب والوسائل الحديثة حتى يتغلبوا على ما يواجههم من مشکلات.
 دعوة الجامعات إلي إقامة ندوات علمية إعلامية بصفة دورية، واستضافة علماء التجديد الأزهريين؛  لطرح الأفکار والأسئلة والشبهات والرد عليها .

Abstract:
The present research has sought to identify the importance and role played by Al-Azhar Al-Sharif in disseminating sciences and explore its role in carrying out renovation and reform. In addition, it has aimed at shedding light on Al-Azhar’s role in fostering Arabic linguistics and literature and highlighting the relevant brilliant contributions made by Al-Azhar scholars, with special reference to Dr. Muhammed Hassan Othman. The research has adopted the interpretive, meta-analysis study design in collecting and analyzing data from books and studies, then using them in a way that helped to achieve the objectives of my research.
The present research has reached several results, the most significant of which is the diversity of Al-Azhar’s efforts aiming at fostering the enlightenment movement in Egypt through serving the Arabic and Islamic heritage. To achieve this particular goal, many Azharite scholars who are competent in authorship and heritage identification came to be well-known. Their works later became the foundation of the fundamentals of Arabic and Islamic sciences. Defending our language is a political battle, not simply a cultural one. Based on this fact, this battle is a kind of resistance similar to the resistance in Palestine and other Arab countries. Renovation does not mean stripping ourselves from the fundamentals and constants of Islam. It rather means identifying their evidence and public purposes and deducing what is compatible with the contemporary era. Hedaya, an electronic multilingual platform, is one of the most important communication tools launched by the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide. The website provides Muslims everywhere in the world with all the knowledge, sciences, and skills they need in every aspect of their lives, both interactively and attractively.
The research has reached several recommendations, the most important of which is the necessity to enhance women’s role in developing the religious discourse and encourage them to take part in the process of renovation and reform. It is also recommended that educators face the challenges of the contemporary era by adopting novel and up-to-date methods to be able to overcome these problems. Universities need to be called to regularly organize media scientific seminars to which they are ought to invite the Azharite scholars interested in renovation to discuss the relevant ideas and ambiguous issues and receive inquiries and respond to them.
